Spiritual Cinema Circle Movies, March 2008

Every month the Spiritual Cinema Circle brings more wonderful movies to its audience, each one a small treasure just waiting to be found. Spiritual Cinema Circle offers the opportunity for moviemakers to take a chance on subjects and storylines that have the power to become something much more than a movie. And you can experience their work as a member. The feature film this month, Tara Road, is based on an Oprah Book Club selection book. Here are this month’s movies.

Misty Mountain
This complex tale of love and time travel reveals itself slowly, bringing us a beautiful story of healing, love, and redemption. 31 minutes, in English. Written and directed by Oskar Thor Axelsson.

Love Train
A dragon in the prime of her life braves a winter landscape to find love. A beautifully hand-animated film, this sweet short will warm your heart. 8 minutes, no dialog. Written and directed by Eva Bennett.

Lemonade Stories

Tara Road (D)
This inspiring film stars Andy MacDowell and Olivia Williams as two women who, running from their own lives, decide to switch homes, without having ever met. 97 minutes, in English.
