    Here’s a video of beautiful scenes and a beautiful, harmonious choral rendition of the famous peace song, Let There Be Peace On Earth. Our many thanks to those who prepared it.

    Here are the words.

    Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.
    Let there be peace on earth, the peace that was meant to be.
    With God as our father, brothers all are we.
    Let me walk with my brother in perfect harmony.

    Let peace begin with me. Let this be the moment now.
    With every step i take let this be my solemn vow.
    To take each moment and live each moment with peace eternally.
    Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.

    Let there be peace on earth

    And let it begin with me.

    Let there be peace on earth

    The peace that was meant to be.

    With God as our father

    Brothers all are we.

    Let me walk with my brother

    In perfect harmony.

    Let this be the moment now.

    With every step i take

    Let ther be peace on earth,

    And let it begin with me.

    I was delighted today to come across a movie on YouTube that put my poem, The Garden of Your Mind, to beautiful pictures and beautiful music. Enjoy the photos and the music. I’ve copied the poem below the movie, since it’s hard reading some of the words against the pictures. My special thanks to the one who created the movie.

    I’ve also added it to my Inspiration Connection Channel, a place I’ve created for more inspirational movies.

    The Garden of Your Mind

    Your mind is like a garden:
    Whatever you plant will grow.
    Your thoughts are seeds you’re planting:
    They produce, each after its kind.

    And you, just like a gardener,
    Can choose which seeds you’ll plant.
    And by the choice of seeds you sow,
    You choose the harvest you will reap.

    So don’t plant seeds of lack or fear,
    Disease, discord, or doubt.
    Plant, instead, the seeds you want;
    Then things you want will sprout.

    This gift of choice is given to all,
    And not to just a few.
    The harvest, friend, is in your hands:
    The crop depends on you.

    So take this power which you’ve been given,
    And use it every day,
    To gain from life the good you want,
    For you have found the way.

    THE INTERVIEW WITH GOD
    I dreamed I had an interview with God.

    “So you would like to interview me?” God asked.

    “If you have the time” I said.

    God smiled. “My time is eternity.”
    “What questions do you have in mind for me?”

    “What surprises you most about humankind?”

    God answered…
    “That they get bored with childhood,
    they rush to grow up, and then
    long to be children again.”

    “That they lose their health to make money…
    and then lose their money to restore their health.”

    “That by thinking anxiously about the future,
    they forget the present,
    such that they live in neither
    the present nor the future.”

    “That they live as if they will never die,
    and die as though they had never lived.”

    God’s hand took mine,
    and we were silent for a while.

    And then I asked…
    “As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons
    you want your children to learn?”

    “To learn they cannot make anyone love them.
    All they can do is let themselves be loved.”

    “To learn that it is not good
    to compare themselves to others.”

    “To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.”

    “To learn that it only takes a few seconds
    to open profound wounds in those they love,
    and it can take many years to heal them.”

    “To learn that a rich person
    is not one who has the most,
    but is one who needs the least.”

    “To learn that there are people
    who love them dearly,
    but simply have not yet learned
    how to express or show their feelings.”

    “To learn that two people can
    look at the same thing
    and see it differently.”

    “To learn that it is not enough
    that they forgive one another,
    but they must also forgive themselves.”

    “Thank you for your time,” I said humbly.

    “Is there anything else
    you would like your children to know?”

    God smiled and said,
    “Just know that I am here … always.”

    There’s one crude door in a corner there—
    It’s small and has no style.
    I rarely give it half a glance;
    It’s hardly worth my while.

    I’d rather try the outer doors;
    They seem to offer more.
    There’ll always be some time to try
    That plain and simple door.

    But one by one those other doors
    Kept closing in my face.
    And when, it seemed, they’d done their worst,
    They left me in disgrace.

    So then, when I could stand no more,
    When I couldn’t seem to do a thing;
    I hurried to that crude, small door
    Where I control the string.

    I flung that portal open wide;
    There none but I could go.
    And looked into the face of God
    To see what Truth I know.

    And there, within my mind,
    I thought My dreams, which none could trod!
    And then I went my way in peace,
    And left the rest to God.

    For He has ways I know not of;
    He guides me day by day.
    I live my life with faith and love,
    For I have found my way.

    So remember, friend, when life’s gone dry,
    And your patience is wearing thin;
    There’s always one last door to try—
    The door to your Great Within.

    Behind that door lie all your dreams,
    Your hopes and visions, too.
    Life always starts with one of these,
    Then shows you what to do.

    So keep your vision strong and true,
    No matter what men say.
    Behind that one last door, dear friend,
    You’ll surely find your way!
