Appreciation Movie
The Appreciation Movie, linked to the graphic below, is a wonderful reminder of how important appreciation is in the lives of others, as well as ourselves. In the movie, Barbara A. Glanz tells the story of one man who was moved by the idea of showing appreciation to others. He thought of a special teacher who had meant so much to his life and development. He decided to track her down and found an address for her. He wrote her a letter expressing how much he appreciated all she had meant to him. The rest of the movie shares the story of her appreciation of his letter. We never know just how much a simple word of appreciation might mean to a person, until we say it. Say those words of appreciation while you still have time to do so, before that special person is gone from your life.
